Youth Services
The Youth Services Department works with a variety of youth and young adults who are experiencing episodes of running away, homelessness, pregnant and parenting A young mother in our Transitional Apartments with her babyissues or other types of “high risk” life-altering circumstances.  The Youth Services Department is made up of seven distinct program components, spanning more than a quarter of a century of quality services throughout Onondaga County:

The Youth Services Department is focused on empowering young people through the consistent administration of a A teen seekign assistance in our youth programsvariety of strength-based interventions.  Each of the programs listed above are also designed to incorporate the complete and voluntary participation of youth and families while also featuring an array of unique service related options and opportunities:
  • 24-hour availability, 365 days per year
  • 24-hour crisis hot lines
  • Emergency intervention and long term support
  • Intake and assessment procedures facilitating services such as housing, basic needs, healthcare, mental health assistance and substance abuse treatment
  • Educational, social and recreational activities
