ADULT DAY SERVICES

The Adult Day Center provides opportunities for socialization and wellness that support independence for over 680 of our community’s seniors. Many of the seniors have special emotional or health needs, including seniors with developmental disabilities. For many participants, the center becomes their extended family. Nutritionally balanced breakfasts and hot lunches are served to all participants. Programs include: computer instruction, yoga, exercise and strength training, diabetic support, health monitoring and education, ceramics and crafts, music, spiritual programs and personal enrichment in a warm and diverse community setting.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Serve breakfast and/or lunch
  • Provide music or other entertainment
  • Play board games or go on recreational activities with seniors
  • Share a hobby or teach a craft
  • Greet seniors, answer phones and other receptionist tasks
    		• Provide breakfast and lunch for a senior for one year

    Provide breakfast for a senior for one year

    Provide lunch for a senior for one year
    - $1,470 -

    Transport a senior from home to the center
    - $1,165 -

    Sponsor a senior to take an art course
    - $1,525 -

    Sponsor 4 outings in a month for seniors
    – $1,100 -

    Provide program and craft supplies for one month
