Christmas in July...Because Need Knows No Season
Christmas in July…Because Need Knows No Season raises awareness of the need that is present year-round in our community and is the result of the growing needs right here in Onondaga County.

Tune in to the Mars Hill Network during the month of July as they present the 'Missions at Your Doorstep' series throughout the month of July. Click here to visit their website.

Volunteers are needed to help ring bells on those days between 8am - 2pm. Call 479-1321 for more information or to volunteer.
Dates for the Downtown Farmer's Market:

  • July 6
  • July 13
  • July 20
  • July 27

On Thursday, July 15, join us as we collect donations of non-perishableVolunteers from The Salvation Army and the Red Hat Society ring bells outside the Syracuse Chiefs game in 2007 food and money before the Syracuse Chiefs game at Alliance Bank Stadium. Prior to opening pitch our Red Kettles and barrels will be outside the stadium to collect monetary donation and non-perishable food donations to benefit low income families in Onondaga County. For more information about the game or to volunteer to ring bells, please call us at 479-1321.

Local companies and churches are invited to participate in our Christmas in July efforts by collecting non-perishable food items to be distributed through our food pantry. During the summer months, more and more families turn to us for help with food because their children are not receiving free breakfast and lunch at school. To participate in our food drive, please contact Lynn Hy at 479-1321.

Thank you to all of our partners that will help make Christmas in July...Because Need Knows No Season 2010 a success.
